Funding

ERINHA is funded by the contributions of its Full & Associate Members.

These funds are primarily dedicated to supporting the organization and developing its core competencies to enable the provision of operational research services for the study of highly pathogenic agents. .

This funding does not cover costs incurred by specific scientific projects and are provided by users or other external sources

The projects hosted by ERINHA can be funded from a variety of public or private sources depending on the type of activity:

  • National funding coming from individual States may ensure early preparedness research;
  • European funding (e.g. Horizon-Europe; IMI) may fund research activities
  • industrial international donors, public/private partnerships (e.g. CEPI) may fund intervention development and translation activities as well as the service-type activities.
