ERINHA is currently recruiting a full-time Data Scientist to be based in Paris, Central Coordinating Unit.
On 1 March 2019, ERINHA along with 12 other ESFRI Research Infrastructures in the Life Sciences domain joined forces to launch the EOSC-Life project which aims to create an open collaborative digital space for life science in the European Open Science Cloud.
To ensure that European Life Science remains at the forefront of global advances and to deepen research, scientific data along with its associated digital services must be findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR) across scientific disciplines and national boundaries.
FAIR data and services improve reproducibility of biomedical research, drive new scientific discoveries and enable any researcher in Europe and across the world to access and use them.
In EOSC-Life the research infrastructures will publish data from facilities and data resources in the EOSC and link these FAIR databases to open and reusable Tools and Workflows accessible to users via Europe’s national and international life-science clouds. EOSC-Life will also connect users across Europe to a single login authentication and resource authorisation system and develop data policies needed to preserve and deepen the trust given by research participants and patients volunteering their data and samples.
EOSC-Life has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme under grant agreement number 824087.
February 25th 2019 kick off meeting marked the official start of the new Horizon 2020 funded project RI-VIS. The project will expand the visibility of European research infrastructures to new communities, and new target regions forming strategic partnerships with infrastructures in third countries. ERINHA, together with other member infrastructures will develop valuable resources such as guidelines and toolkits for partnering, host international outreach events, organise an international RI staff mobility programme and more.
The ERINHA-Advance project coordinated by ERINHA AISBL brings together 8 European research institutes and aims to foster the innovation potential of the ERINHA research infrastructure and ensure the long term sustainability of the RI.
ERINHA-Advance is supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the grant agreement No 824061.
