ISIDORe launches its preparedness programme calls for proposals

The ERINHA-led “Integrated Services for Infectious Disease Outbreak Research” (ISIDORe) consortium has launched its preparedness programme. New calls for proposals for free-of-charge access to its state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge services, advanced equipment and technologies are available.

The preparedness programme includes a list of priority preparedness pathogens clustered in four calls for proposals. These are aligned with strategies of key leading European and international bodies.

Within the new calls for proposals, ERINHA offers to the scientific community free of charge access to its high containment facilities (BSL3 and BSL4) and expertise. ERINHA provides access to a wide variety of research models, both cellular and animal, and associated analyses, ranging from traditional virology to more sophisticated and high throughput approaches. The services include analytical capabilities such as viral titers and neutralisation, high-content bioimaging and much more.

The calls are open to all scientists both from academia and the private sector.

ERINHA provides access to its BSL4 facilities and expertise for all RG4 pathogens to perform research in classic cell systems, but also in organoids (e.g. human blood vessel organoids), as well as in animal models. Proposals must require access to at least one of the ISIDORe services and be aligned with at least one of the sections presented on the calls webpage.

Deadline for pre-applications (for access to BSL4 laboratory capacities): 07 February 2023, 23:59 CET.
